Les Puces is back for Season 2. Mandie and Badger Davis are back with a brand new season, teaching kids aged 3-11 the French language.

Season 2 starts with the story of Charlie Rabbit and his friend Snail. After finding some packets of seeds, Charlie and Snail plant them in the garden. The trees grow in the form of shapes – useful vocabulary in French! Charlie is disappointed that his favourite shape, the star, doesn’t appear. His patience is finally rewarded after we learn what the seeds need to grow, and that, as Charlie always says ‘Good things take time!’ We hear the story in French and then in English (so you can check how much you understood!).

We can learn the song about Charlie and the seeds, along with the dance moves that help us remember the vocabulary.

There are also further adventures with Badger, as he follows pathways around the garden and in the woods. He shows us some games with leaves and sticks and encourages outdoor play and imagination – especially when he makes a magic wand and creates an outdoor feast for the toys.
